What is InheritOps

Operations for probate and estate law firms.

  • Legal Intake & Inquiry Response

We answer calls, forms, and referrals in your firm’s voice. Callers have someone to speak with, and your staff have fewer interruptions while serving existing clients.

  • Lead Qualification & Screening

We follow your firm’s approved script and screening questions to gather the parties, matter details, location, and concerns. We document potential fit and anything requiring attorney review before arranging a consultation.

  • AI-Enhanced Property & Estate Data Enrichment

We use AI to enrich inquiries with property data, estimated estate size, and related details to help your firm assess the scope of a matter and allocate staff time and resources.

  • Lead Prioritization

We prioritize follow-up using your firm’s criteria for fit, urgency, and readiness for consultation. Inquiries needing attorney attention are flagged for review.

  • Prospective Client Follow-Up

We request missing information, follow up with prospective clients, and coordinate the next step. Your firm can see what is outstanding and who is handling it.

  • Consultation Preparation & Handoff

We organize the caller’s account, documents collected, and communication history for your team. Unanswered questions and review flags stay visible for the attorney.

Getting started

Built around the way your firm works.

We begin with your judgment and your systems. You know which matters belong in your practice; we turn that knowledge into a process our team can run.

  1. Get to know your practice

We document the matters you accept, the locations you serve, and the facts your attorneys need.

  2. Agree on the working details

Together we set the questions, coverage, scheduling, and escalation rules, including what reaches your existing systems.

  3. Put the team to work

We run the agreed intake process and take responsibility for the follow-up and consultation handoff.

  4. Keep the process useful

We review open inquiries and dispositions with you, then adjust the playbook as your practice changes.

Common questions

Questions firms ask us

Which law firms is InheritOps built for?

InheritOps provides managed intake for probate and estate administration, trust and estate litigation, inheritance disputes, and estate planning practices. We work with firm owners and administrators to define the matters to screen and the work our team will handle.

Is InheritOps an answering service?

No. We answer calls, but we also screen inquiries against your rules, follow up, prepare consultations, update statuses, and hand qualified matters to your team.

Do you replace our receptionist or intake coordinator?

InheritOps can manage the full intake function or take ownership of the parts your current team cannot cover consistently. We define those responsibilities during setup.

How do you learn which matters we want?

We turn your attorneys’ acceptance criteria into a written playbook. It covers the questions to ask, the matters to decline, the facts to flag, and when an attorney should review the inquiry.

How do you handle sensitive family calls?

Our team follows your approved questions, listens without rushing the caller, and escalates legal, conflict, or capacity issues to the right person at your firm. We do not give legal advice.

Can InheritOps work with our current technology?

We start with the tools you already use. During setup, we map your phones, forms, calendar, and case management system. We build the workflow around them where that makes sense.

What reaches the lawyer before a consultation?

The lawyer receives a concise matter summary, key names and dates, relevant documents collected, the communication history, and any unresolved questions.
